The Tiger's Apprentice

This book jumps into a fighting scene. Tom, the main character, comes home from school to meet a man on his doorstep. Tom thinks the man has a disguise on, so he takes away the spell to see a tiger in a suit and tie. Then, after his grandmom explains about the tiger being her friend, Tom is , once again, shaken up to see a bunch of monsters flying towards the house. He and the Tiger escape the battle, but Tom is frustrated and demands answers. So, the tiger explains that the Guardians, Tom's grandmom and now the tiger, protect a sacred item, that contains much power. The "ultimate" bad guy is named Vatten, because that sacred item can destroy the world. Read the book to know what happens. 184 pages. double pages.
